My B. Ed diaries

 As part of drug abuse day     We conducted poster making competition and awareness talk on drug and it's impact. Poster making competition was conducted in UP level. And topic was Drug impact.  And also we conducted a awareness class about it's adverse effects of drug and its consequence.

 The second week contains some programs - Reading day and Drug abuse day. The school conducted programmes like reading competition, book donation and talk related drug impact and it's awareness.    We got substitution classes in different LP and UP classes. Experience form the small children was quite different than the high class students.

National Reading Day is celebrated on  June 19  in India to honour Puthuvayil Narayana Panicker, popularly known as PN Panicker. He was a renowned teacher and revered as the father of the library movement in Kerala.    As part of reading day, sarvodaya conducted reading competition and book donation campaign.we conducted a visual and auditory presentation about reading habits and its benifits as part of the day.

 Today i have class at 8 A in 7 th period. All classes in high school level are smart classroom. Instead of blackboard it contain smart board -senses. There is no chalk and duster. It was my first time for teaching through a smart board. First of all i just confused, but i realized that it's simple like a laptop. I really enjoyed. It contain may feature like maths tools, change in pen colour, video, internet connection... Etc. So it's very easy way to teach the concept effectively.

 Today  was the second day of teaching practice phase 2.  I have class at 9A in first period.. The class techer - laly thomas is my concern techer in that class. Strength of the class is 51. And today 49 were presented. The class was big and the students were seated in 3 rows.. So it's a big deal to handle the classroom. Today i just introduce my self and then make a rapport with students. And  i just started my lesson - Decimal forms. The students were actively respond.

 Today started the intership -teaching practice phase 2. I got sarvodaya vidyalaya (icse, state ) school for my practice   It was a nice experience and different from the first teaching practice. 5 teacher students form each optional were allotted in the school.  The school time  start form 8.25 am -3.00 pm. I entered the school on 8.10 am and signed the attendance sheet. The school stated by prayer and pledge. Then the principal gave message of the day. I have two classes -9A and 8 A Today i have class in 8 A at the 7 the period. strength of the class was 40. Today 38 were presented. I introduced my self and make a conversation between the pupil. And then i just started my topic- isosceles triangle.    It was my first class in 8 A. And am happy with the class environment.
